Hello! Thanks for checking in, I’m Cynthia; mom/lifestyle & portrait photographer/storyteller/dreamer/yogi

I live in Healdsburg, one of California Wine Country's most sweetest towns. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, grew up in Chicago, and I have been pursuing happiness in Northern California since 1997. Right before the pandemic, I spent time back in Milwaukee helping to move my mom closer to family. Inevitably, hidden in boxes stored deep away, we found old albums and photos of my childhood adventures. I was always carrying around a camera! I’ve realized that documenting moments people share, has been my life long passion. (way before social media;)

Following in my mom’s footsteps, I started as a makeup artist, then quickly fell in love with the flexibility and excitement of the restaurant industry. I discovered travel, OHH the places I will go! I’ve won and lost in love a few times along the way. Undoubtably, giving me the greatest gift of my life, my girl Amelia. She will always be my greatest inspiration and constant muse.

Working in restaurants in San Francisco, ultimately I landing in Sonoma County. When our daughter was born, my husband gifted me my first digital camera and I was hooked!  In 2017, I officially launched my photography business- it’s never too late to follow your dreams… right? Amelia is now a junior in high school, and that blows me away!  Taking time to pause during these fleeting times, I am cherishing every moment we get to spend together.  Although, getting her in front of the lens these days doesn’t happen as much as I would like, the moments I do get to capture her, are forever priceless.
